You will need an inflatable boxing glove and something the kids can hit (I use an inflatable football player who bounces back when you hit him).
I use this to talk about how we can overcome temptation and not give in to it. Pass out a post-it note to each child and have them write something that they are often tempted to do. Have the children come up, one at a time, and stick the note to whatever object you have chosen to punch. Then as the kids for ways we can resist temptation and write them on post-it notes and stick them to the inflatable glove. Explain that these are the ways the Bible says we can resist temptation and when we use them we can knock out sin. Depending on how many kids you have, you can have each one take a turn putting the glove on and hitting the "temptations", or you can just call a few kids up. This was a huge hit (excuse the pun) with my kids. While doing this we sang the song, "This is how we overcome." Afterward we prayed for each child that they would depend on God to resist the temptation that they face.
