What is Smile House?
Smile House is a Bridge to Life home operated by Manna Worldwide in Kiev, Ukraine. We at Cool Kids Ministries first became acquainted with Smile House in December of 2010. Once we saw the need our hearts were broken not only for the house, but for the children and the needs of the country. It has become a burden for us the reach, inform and make a difference in the lives of as many children as possible through Smile House. We have just returned from our first trip to Smile House. There were 8 of us who made the trip and what an awesome time we had. Working on Smile House and ministering to children at Safe Haven, another Bridge to Life Home already in existence. When did this project begin?
MANNA Worldwide was gifted co-ownership of this 8,000 sq. ft. house (shell) in January 2009. Construction has been ongoing since March 2009 to complete the interior.
How many children do you expect to care for?
When completed, this home will care for approximately 30 children and three sets of house parents. These children will be provided housing, food, clothing, medical, and school expenses along with a positive family dynamic that they know little of.
